Following on from the announcement of the collaboration between Nokia and Burton Snowboards we featured a few months back, the team behind the project are ready to drop an exclusive look into the research and development they’ve been conducting!
January 4th 2011 will see the Push Snowboarding team release the first in a series of five videos detailing their snow tests in Austria. They provide a behind the scenes look into the five sensors they’ll be attaching to snowboarders to capture their run data.
The videos will be going up one per day all week with Friday seeing a bumper upload of both episode 4 and episode 5 in preparation before they head out to the Burton European Open on January 8th.
All five videos will be hosted right here on the NSeries blog; which means Tuesaday through to Friday there will be an awesome new Push Snowboarding video to watch! Be sure to keep checking back for the latest episode!
In the meantime, check out the Nokia x Burton: Push Snowboarding launch video below:
Episode 1 on Tuesday 4th January looks at measuring a snowboarder’s speed… You’ll have to wait until Wednesday 5th January to find out what episode 2 looks at…
