The limitations are endless, just think what might aid a snowboarder with their ride, or how creating a new way of visualising the data might provide a new experience for spectators. How about a Qt app that helps teach correct foot pressure for those learning to board or even integrating a completely new sensor into the Push Snowboarding kit which could measure the temperature of the boarder? Perhaps a physical installation triggered by the data – such as a simulation of the datasets projected on a wall that changes colour, noise and shape when triggered by the data itself?
Whatever it is, get creative and get creating so Push Snowboarding can showcase your ideas at the 2011 US Open Snowboarding Championships.
All you need to do is download the dataset or Push Snowboarding application source code by simply clicking on the links. To get your hands on those VIP U.S Open tickets and free travel and accommodation, you need to get your entries in by 25th February. Submit to [email protected].
Let us know what you’re working on @Nokiapush and you may be thrust into the spotlight and showcased on the Nokia Push blog!
Don’t forget, there’s also an opportunity to enter into Creative Review and Wired UK competitions, the former of which closes today at midnight.
