10 cool things that happened in June



As we approach the mid-way point between 2011 and 2012, the cool things keep on flowing. June was a particularly busy month. Here’s a round-up of the best stuff!

We had the launch of the Nokia & ELLE style correspondent competition which is currently in phase 2. Notorious fashion blogger ‘Bryanboy’ even guest posted on Nseries highlighting his take on the colliding worlds of fashion and tech and what

There was also room in the fashion wardrobe for the Pink N8 launch which kicked off with a very pink collaborative video with the U.K band, the Sugarbabes.

 

Aside from fashion, there was as essential A-Z of Nokia and essential A-Z of Nokia apps. Everything from Angry Birds to Zuma’s Revenge was featured.

Sticking to the essential theme, there was the announcement of the Nokia N9 and we gone down and dirty with 9 things you must read (or watch) about the Nokia N9.

We went BIG with ‘Gulp’, Nokia’s attempt at the world’s largest stop motion animation which we reported on the ground from and even bigger with Nokia Shorts, where we announced the winner only a few days ago at the Nokia Shorts Weekender in Edinburgh.

We always save some of best until last and this month is no different as we delved into the mobile world with 10 surprising facts about Nokia in Africa.
