Nokia 603 unveiled

The sharp-eyed among you may have noticed a post from Nokia Conversations, unveiling our new Nokia 603. This nifty little handset aims to be an affordable option for people wanting to buy their very first smartphone. Also, just because it’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg, doesn’t mean it lacks great features. To me, the design is smooth, elegant and very tidy, as you can see for yourself…

Now, Rafe from All About Symbian and Jay from My Nokia Blog both win the title of ‘sharp-eyed’ today, as they have already posted about the colourful 603 and some of the key features it possesses.

A few of the hardware points mentioned by Rafe and Jay are as follows

  • 1 GHz Processor
  • MicroUSB (USB 2.0) for file transfers, charging and USB OTG functionality
  • 5 megapixel full focus (EDoF) camera with HD video capture
  • Integrated GPS

A couple of software features too

  • Symbian Belle
  • NFC enabling you to just tap to share photos and video and pair your 603 with NFC accessories
  • Nokia Maps 3.6 (free lifetime car and pedestrian navigation)

There’s a lot more information and discussion taking place around the 603, so I would like to invite you to join the conversation in the comments section of Rafe’s post and Jay’s post. If you have anything to add you can always find myself and our team @Nokia_Connects
