Pimping your Nokia – Halloween-style

It’s Halloween – time to dress up like a zombie/mummy/Star Wars character or combination of all three (I’ve seen it happen), eat as much candy as your stomach can take and carve a pumpkin in the shape of the Death Star (anyone gone the whole hog and carved one in the shape of their phone yet?).

Now that’s all fine for you – and the kids, of course. But what about that Nokia in your pocket? Why shouldn’t he/she be involved in the fun too? Here’s a few ways you can ‘pimp’ your phone for the night.

Wallpapers and themes

The most obvious way to spruce up your phone is to add a new wallpaper or theme. This one from PiZero (you may have heard of them :)) is kinda scary without being overly so. Search the Nokia Store for Halloween Theme for more options.

Ringtones

How about a ‘Creepy Organ’ ringtone? You know the tune, you’ve heard it in loads of films – ‘Da-da-daaah da-da-da-da-daaaah dahh’. Or a whole app full of sounds to freak out your friends?

Games

Halloween-themed games are abound in the Nokia Store, and none more popular than Angry Birds Seasons (look out for pumpkins alongside the regular porcine enemies). And there’s always alternatives like a skulls vs. pumpkins version of Tic Tac Toe

Recipes

And as if that wasn’t enough, once the fun has passsed and November is upon us, there’s the Halloween Recipes to guide you through how best to use all that left over pumpkin that you scooped out – I’m expecting soup, pie and other yummy treats.

So, what do you have planned for tonight? Going to try any of the above? Whatever you do, have fun, stay safe and remember to share all your Nokia-snapped pics (especially of the best carved pumpkins :)) with us @Nokia_Connects
