GLOBAL – The latest app from CNN is ideal for people travelling or living in the Asia-Pacific region. Called CNNGo, the app highlights places to go, events you should be at and insider insights into the cultures of the area.

There are two principal ways to use the app. You can either see all the latest news from the site, scrolling sideways to find more stories. Or you can focus in on a particular city, for stories from just that place. You can set any of the cities served as your home city, to automatically get items about those destinations when you launch the app.

Created for Symbian smartphones, the app currently covers news from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. And best of all, it’s available for free from Nokia Store.
