Lumia 800: Amazon Kindle app review

This post will be great news for those of you who have already purchased a Lumia 800 or those of you who are wondering how well apps run on the device before you buy one. Our friend Jay Montano over at mynokiablog has introduced a new daily post called ‘Lumiappaday’ for his fans. He is reviewing, filming and discussing an app a day for the Lumia 800 in thorough detail. Today he is looking at the Amazon Kindle app.

The Amazon Kindle app is for all you book lovers out there, yeah, you know who you are! Transporting large and often heavy books is a bane for many people who are constantly on the move, so the Amazon Kindle app lets you electronically download books directly to your mobile phone. The app looks slick and easy to use on the Lumia 800. When you download and log into the app it instantly recognises your previous purchases and archives them for use on the phone. We thought this was a pretty cool and convenient feature.

Jay rates the app at 8.25 out of 10. He wrote that it was very easy to use, fast, reliable and did not crash but needed an internet connection to sync up previous purchases. Overall it was a very positive review for his first Lumiappaday.
