Mapstronaut offers €1000 for your favourite place

Remember the Mapstronaut? Of course you do. Well, he’s back for his final adventure with yet another huge prize up for grabs.

On his previous travels the Mapstronaut only visited Rome, Berlin and London. This time however the competition has been thrown WIDE OPEN and the Mapstronaut wants you to suggest your favourite place, no matter where you live!

Here is what you have to do:

Find the place you love in your city using Nokia Maps and then share it with us and your friends on Twitter.

IT’S THAT SIMPLE.

And for a prize? How does a cool €1000 soundAll to spend at the place you suggest as your favourite.

The reason behind all this is that Nokia Maps now has an amazing new feature to help you find your way around the world – 3D integrated map view.

The first time you tried an online Maps service, did you IMMEDIATELY look for your house or famous landmarks in your city? Of course you did.

Well you’ll want to do exactly the same thing this time ’round with the new 3D integrated maps view. But, unlike other 3D maps, you can search, plan routes and save your favourite places all in the same view.

It’s available in a limited number of cities right now, but expect more new places to be added in the coming year.

Find out more about the competition and how to submit your entry on the Nokia Maps blog. Also, make sure you follow the conversation with #NokiaMaps on Twitter.

Best of luck!
