Fan Bingbing with Nokia N9

BEIJING, China – Fan Bingbing is a Chinese actress as well as a singer and is hugely popular in the East. At 18 years old, she’s appeared in over 30 TV shows and films. She’s also made something special, an advert for the Nokia N9 that’s proved to be a huge hit reaching over 7.3 million views in the first 24 hours.

When it comes to following the crowd, Fan Bingbing has never been one to stick to expectations. Which is why she was perfect for the Unfollow video.

The idea behind the video name of Unfollow is to let people know you can make your own decisions and make your own rules. Do what you want. Don’t let people tell you what to do. Be your own person.

We apologise if this doesn’t play for you, it depends on a Chinese service that may not be supported in your country. You can view it directly here.

In China, people don’t use Twitter. Instead they use Sina Weibo which does pretty much the same thing. Within the first 24 hours, the video reached over 3,000,000 retweets, breaking records.
