NokiaTube: where in the world?

We travel to Poland and Romania this week for the fourth edition of NokiaTube: where in the world. Today’s feature includes a chat with some Romanian app developers on the Nokia Developer Channel and a cool stop motion video from Poland.

So far we have witnessed flash mobbing, ice breaking, extreme travelling and passionate petrol heads. Oh and how could we forget the weird and the wonderful from Nokia YouTube Channels all over the globe. The latest countries to feature in this weekly post include Poland and Romania. They join our infamous global list of Nokia Channel’s, which includes the likes of Nokia South Africa, Germany, Indonesia, India and Croatia.

Poland

Here is a nice advert from Poland to start us off. Stop motion filming is always a sure fire winner, it takes hours upon hours of painstaking attention to get it right but the end results always look mind blowing. The American band OK Go have successfully experimented with stop motion in the past, their music video ‘End Love’ is incredible. You should also check out Gulp – the short stop motion film that was shot entirely on an N8! Sorry, we got a bit side-tracked there, here are our Polish friends:

Nokia Developer – Romania

Here are Cristian Loloiu and Adriana Marica; the young Romanian co-founders of ‘Fill Apps’. This year they took part in a Qt developer contest to create a new gaming app for global distribution. Whilst competing in the competition they ended up falling in love with the Qt SDK platform, so they decided to move forward making more apps. They said that the platform ‘enables them to create killer apps in just a few hours’ and with the support of the Nokia Developer and Nokia Romania they have create an awesome puzzle app called ‘Fillr’. Have a look at the app in action, why don’t you try to create your own level and play with friends on the other side of the globe!

We hope you enjoy today’s NokiaTube, we would love you to come up with a different name for this weekly feature! We decided that we want to freshen it up a little in the New Year so please let us know your suggestions below or @Nokia_Connects.
