Eliza Dushku with a Nokia Lumia 900

LAS VEGAS, USA – Stunning actress Eliza Dushku revealed she is a Nokia baby yesterday when she had a play with the Nokia Lumia 900 during her CES tour.

The 32-year-old star, who found fame as Faith in TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer, said: “Nokia was my first cell phone. Now I travel a lot and whenever I go somewhere like Canada and Europe, they give me a Nokia.”

Eliza was impressed after her Nokia Lumia 900 hands-on experience at the Nokia booth on the first floor of the South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“I love the screen size,” she said. “I love the 4g, it’s fast. I love the group texting, I have a big family so it’s nice to be able to send out a blast to everyone. I love the two colors.

“I think it’s really impressive,” she added after the demonstration by Kimmo Mattila, Senior Product Manager, Nokia Smart Devices

Eliza, who has over a million Twitter followers, is a self-confessed tech fan and landed the job of CES ambassador at this year’s show.

So she lapped up a sneak preview of City Lens, an augmented reality app that will be heading to Nokia Beta labs soon.

“I love the City Lens,” said Eliza who has also worked on video games, including Wet. “I struggle with navigation and I thought that City Lens was very cool. It’s sort of a compass attached to the palm of your hand.”

And Eliza, who lives in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, is looking forward to having her own Nokia Lumia 900 when it is released.

“I think they’re going to let me play with one when it comes out,” she said.
