GLOBAL – Put your feet up, grab your Nokia Lumia 710 or Nokia Lumia 800 and have some fun this weekend. We’ve looked through the Windows Phone Marketplace and plucked out a great game.  So be egg-cited . . . and no fowl play – it’s Chickens Can’t Fly.

Slide chickens down a chute, avoid spinning blades, collect corn on the way and land in soft, plump pillows. Classic.

To control the chicken, you use the phone’s built-in accelerometer. Just tilt the phone left and right to get the job done, no on-screen keypads required.

The more corn you get, the higher your score. Try to collect as much as you can for the gold trophy at the end of each level.

It doesn’t matter if you hit the walls in this game, in fact it helps. They slow the rate of descent, giving you more time to manoeuvre the falling bird.

You’ll be able to pick up power-ups en route, such as invincibility. But there are also nasty surprises to mess you up.

As with any Xbox Live game, your achievements will be added to your Gamertag for you to compare with your friends.

Download Chickens Can’t Fly on your Nokia Lumia today for £2.29. There’s also the “try before you buy” option, too.
