Nokia Maps for Series 40

GLOBAL – Nokia Maps for Series 40 brings together all the experiences you need to make planning your route easy, and fun. You can find the best tourist places, stores, cafés, restaurants or gyms – and then add them as your favourite places to hangout with friends.

The service is specifically designed to use network-based positioning, and offers a lot of features offline to save on data costs and downloading. Maps of your country and region come already loaded, so there’s no need to spend time installing. If you’re planning to go abroad you can add extra maps of the world through Nokia PC Suite – it’s free, and easy.

We’ve covered 44.5 million km of roads– giving Series 40 users exactly the same level of coverage as smartphone users.

And there’s even more: Not only do you get country maps, and turn by turn walk visual routing in more than 100 countries, for free – you can also save and rediscover your routes, and share your location with your friends.

Nokia Maps is easy to use and free:

Your experience starts by clicking the Map icon on your phone menu.

To see your location and show it to your friends you can use Show Map which will display your surroundings.

If you already have a plan in mind and you know exactly where to go, select, Plan your route, in which you can add the starting point and your destination.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the street name – Search places and your destination by using the maps preloaded on device at no cost. There are around more than 18 million points of interest available offline, too.

If you want to let your friends know that you are visiting the newest restaurant in the city – or that you’ve got home safely – see and mark your Position and share it with your friends and family for the same cost as any other SMS.

Select and save your favourites places for easy access so that the next time you need one, you just click on it and you are ready to go.

Remember that you can Personalise your maps by selecting the unit measures and the way you want to see the maps.

Nokia Maps for Series 40 is now available on the newest Nokia Asha 203 in Latin America. For South East Asia and Pacific region Nokia Asha 203 and Nokia Asha 202. You can also find it on Nokia C2-02, Nokia C2-03, Nokia C2-06 and Nokia Asha 303.
