Nokia Lumia 900 arrives in the U.S.

Amid countdown clocks, TV advertising and a mysterious blue cube in Times Square, the Nokia Lumia 900 has reached the shores of the U.S. and here at Nokia Connects we can bring you the low down on what happened in New York.

If you haven’t seen the Smartphone Beta Test videos yet, you really should take a look before you go any further.

And no, your eyes did not deceive you earlier. There really was a large blue cube in the middle of Times Square with no hint as to what it was apart from a countdown clock. Curiouser and curiouser as a little girl in a blue dress once said.

All was revealed not long afterwards, though, when Nicki Minaj burst on to the stage to perform an exclusive remix of her hit Starships and it was safe to say that once she had arrived, so had the Nokia Lumia 900! Phone, consider yourself announced!

Those in attendance were suitably impressed:

Oh, and the Lumia 900 got some attention too 🙂

For those of you who weren’t around last night, a video has gone up on Nokia’s Facebook page showing all the action, and the amazing performance:

So what do you reckon? Will you be heading out to get your hands on a Nokia Lumia 900 over the rest of the Easter weekend? Thoughts and opinions welcome in the comments, and on Twitter as ever 🙂
