GLOBAL – I don’t know about you, but my life is far too busy to remember everything that needs doing on a day-to-day basis. If there’s anything that can make my life easier, I’ll take it. Wunderlist is a new app for your Nokia Lumia that will make it easier to tick off daily chores.

Like me, I’m sure a lot of you spend most of your days sat in front of a computer, trying to juggle your work and personal life. Wunderlist is a free service that works through a standard browser on your computer and also works on your mobile phone. What’s really useful is that whatever you add at your computer will sync itself with the phone in your pocket – and vice-versa.

Once you’ve set up an account and download the app from the Windows Phone Marketplace, you’ll be able to create lists so that you can keep your work and private life separate. Then within those lists you can add new tasks. This is where you’ll be adding those little reminders to yourself:

Email the client. Check.

Empty my inbox. Check.

Bring some milk and bread home. Check.

Avoid getting a big telling off. Check.  

From both the web version and the app version, the same functionality spans both platforms, so there’s no watered-down version. Once you’ve created a task you can choose which day to set that for, and also create a reminder just to make sure you don’t forget the event. That’s delivered via an email or a notification by use of the app.

If the reminder function wasn’t enough, you can star important tasks so that they really stand out when looking through your to-do list.
