'The Hobbit' filmed at 48fps

‘Big deal, what’s the difference?’ I hear you say. Well director Peter Jackson thinks doubling the usual frames per second gives things a ‘smoother, more natural motion free from artifacts like strobing’. Question is, will we notice when we see it in the cinema. Those lucky enough to have had a preview have mixed reactions – personally I cannot wait. For more details, click the link above.
