Nokia Lumia 900

GLOBAL – Many thanks to The Next Web for alerting us to some high praise for the Nokia Lumia 900 from Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who told interviewees the new smartphone was “beautiful” and that he would be “carrying the Windows Phone everywhere”.

Take a listen to the podcast and see what you think:

‘Woz’ noted that the Windows Phone platform was far more intuitive to use than Android, which he said expected users to already know how to do things.

It was the design of the interface that particularly impressed him:

“I’m kind of shocked: every screen is much more beautiful than the same apps on Android and iPhone … I haven’t seen anything yet that isn’t more beautiful than the other platforms”.

Nokia CEO Stephen Elop was quick with a welcome upon learning recently that the Silicon Valley icon was in the market for a Lumia 900:

We’d like to welcome him, too – and thanks for sharing your initial impressions, Mr Wozniak.

There are more reports on the story coming in from across the web.
