Nokia Lumia 800 – 'very nice, very nice indeed'

Totally Dubbed has been experiencing the Nokia Lumia 800 for the last little while (courtesy of us here at Nokia Connects), and Windows Phone for the first time (a self-confessed n00b). So what does a newcomer think?

After his unboxing video, he goes on to take a closer look at the OS of the phone, as he finds that this plays a large part in his (and others’) purchase decision. So how does Windows Phone do? Well, he says that it ‘greatly complements both the phone manufacturer, Nokia, in providing a more solid OS for them to use’. He reckons any other OS on this particular phone would not have been the right fit.

As for the hardware, he has his take on what he thinks of the Nokia Lumia 800 – as we all do. He managed to get 8 days of standby time out of the battery, and thinks the screen is ‘absolutely beautiful’ (although he finds it a little sensitive). He covers all the other aspects of the hardware like the camera, the SIM card slot, headphone line-out and overall build quality. It’s a fantastic, balanced review, and I recommend it as a good read for anyone interested in getting their hands on a Nokia Lumia 800. Plus, for the text-heavy-haters amongst us it’s full of great snaps to see every aspect of the phone!

Do you agree with Totally Dubbed? Have you got a Nokia Lumia 800 and got anything to add? Let me know in the comments or find us on Twitter and let us know.
