Changing people’s behavior can be very difficult, and too often we default to negative reinforcement to do so. Getting dog owners to pick up their dog’s waste is once such situation where signs and fines just don’t seem to be working. But what if you could reward people for cleaning it up? That’s exactly what the folks at DDB Mexico have done recently at parks all over Mexico. When owner’s deposit the dog’s business into a receptacle, it turns on a free Wi-Fi service for use on tablets and laptops all around the park; the more deposits, the longer the signal lasts.
