Mohamed lives in London with his bow ties and vintage suitcases so we invited him down to tell us about some of the looks he regularly loves to rock out. Time to hand you over to the fashion addict…..
The year 2012 is all about colour blocking (continuing on from last spring’s trend) so today I decided to do just that by pairing my Dolce and Gabbana leather jacket with a simple white shirt from Zara, green trousers from Topman and vintage yellow brogues that I found in Croydon (you know, that place Kate Moss is from). I finished off the look with a pair of vintage sunglasses, a Missoni tie and my Nokia N8 of course!
Picture 2: These phony Jimmy Choo loafers speak for themselves so I had to tone down the whole outfit by just pairing a black leather jacket with Topman black jeans, a black cashmere cardigan, a v-neck from Uniqlo and my oversized vintage Ray Bans.
Picture 3: Burgundy is one of my favourite colours. So today I decided to pair this cardigan with grey jeans (both by Topman), an electric blue Zara shirt and a Lanvin bow tie. I then finished off the look by throwing on a pair of Converse trainers to transform the look into everyday.
Picture 4: These Roller Boy spiked Christian Louboutin shoes are one of the favourite things in my closet. I remember thinking when I saw them down the Philip Lim 3.1 runway that I must have them! I wanted them for a year before they were out in the stores. Since they’re so flashy and a statement on their own, I decided to dress them down by pairing them with ripped jeans from Topman, a simple black blazer from Zara and a cool t-shirt from Primark.
Picture 5: My outfit was inspired by my Nokia N8 phone because it’s so colour blocking cool, and controversial (so is this outfit). This white and black patterned shirt is from the Marni for H&M collection. I added the Topman skinny carrot pants, Calvin Klein purple cardigan, Emerald Green Tods and a vintage Ruby Red Balenciaga brief case.
