Klout In The Airport: A High Score Gets You Into Cathay Pacific’s SFO Lounge | TechCrunch

There has been ongoing debate in the social media world about your clout on the Internet versus your Klout on the Internet, the latter of course being the social-media based barometer for measuring your influence on the web. Usually the debate ends somewhere around the question of “so what?” Well now your Klout score can get you VIP perks. Where? The San Francisco airport of course. Klout has announced a new partnership with Cathay Airways, a Hong Kong based airline, that will allow users with high Klout scores to be granted access to their first-class airport loungue, which includes workstations, showers and even a noodle bar.
