Watch a man fly across Rio de Janeiro using a jet pack he built himself

Yves “Jetman” Rossy, a former pilot, has built his own four-engine jetpack which he uses to cruise the skies. In the video below, the Jetman is seen flying above Rio de Janeiro, zooming past the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Rossy begins by jumping out of a helicopter, and after 12 minutes of pure adrenaline pumping flight, parachutes safely down onto Copacabana Beach. It looks like a lot of fun, but we think we’ll stick to less death-defying hobbies, like arts and crafts. What do you think? Would you ever take to the sky with a homemade jetpack? Watch the video below and decide for yourself.
