Magic Tate Ball Launched for More Art in Your Pocket

A new app from the Tate Modern art gallery serves you up art based on your location and surroundings. The app, called called the ‘Magic Tate Ball,’ allows users to toggle which information they’d like to input including location, time of day, weather, the ambient noise and shake their phones in a magic 8-ball style and based on that information. The app then spits out an art piece that is featured in their gallery with a short description and recommendations that are germane to your surroundings. Another very cool execution that helps you connect with your city. The app is now available on Nokia phones. What do you think? Would you open to art-based recommendations?
