Part of the range of ‘fairly outrageous cameras’ the 1110 series from Spectral Instruments a 112 megapixel black and white instrument is cooled to minus 100 degrees centigrade to take exposures that ‘last for hours without any noise issues’. And now they want to make a version for the everyday photographer. Nice work, Spectral Instruments, nice work. More info in the link above.
