This Man Invented the Instructions for the Internet

We should all know his name, and thanks him daily, for Steve Crocker wrote the instructions that make the internet work. The crucial packet of code was called Request for Comments, and essentially it’s still used today (but on a massively bigger scale – there’s a heap more details about how it came about, but that’s the nub of the matter). So each day from now on I will invoke the name of Steve Crocker as I sit down to begin my daily work. Thanks Steve.
