The Invisible Bike Helmet is Very Visible (Once You Unpack It)

Are you one of those folks who travel the globe with your bicycle, chasing the next adventure? Do you find the bike helmet a bulky and complicated device to store in your luggage? Sweden has developed “the invisible bike helmet” so your problems are solved. How does it work, you ask? I’ll let the Gadling piece explain: “Reminiscent of the zippered collar of an athletic jacket, the scarf-like Hövding contains a folded-up “invisible” nylon hood whose trigger mechanisms are controlled by sensors that pick up on the abnormal movements of the bike rider wearing it. The sensors are charged via USB port.” It might be easier to store but it looks quite, quite silly. (See image above)
