The amazing world of Styrofoam cup art

via Cheeming Boey

Every year Americans throw away an incredible 25 billion Styrofoam cups. That’s an insane amount of rubbish. Fortunately, Malaysian artist Cheeming Boey has come up with a fantastic way of using at least some of this landfill.  He uses the foam as his canvas to draw everything from detailed portraits to quirky cartoon characters. Because he never drafts his work, he can take anything up to three months to create one of his masterpieces. Love his style? If so, wake up and smell the coffee by checking out his Etsy store or his website today.
