Wha- wha- wha- wha- what did you say?
You heard me, we’re giving away five signed copies of the Jason Derulo album, Future History, to five lucky readers. The more Derulo savvy amongst you may have recognised the above as lyrics from his debut smash hit Whatcha Say (which, by the way, went double platinum) though I’ll forgive those of you that may have missed that.
In case some of you haven’t heard of the 22 year old Floridian, I’ve compiled four super cool facts:
– Jason Derulo started performing at the age of three and wrote his first song aged eight!
– Jason Derulo has already written songs for artists including: Diddy, Sean Kingston & Lil Wayne.
– Jason Derulo’s birth name is in fact Jason Joel Desrouleaux, but uses the stage name Jason Derulo as it’s easier to pronounce.
– You can find Jason Derulo’s ‘recommended’ songs on the Nokia Lumia Mix Radio ‘Celebrity Mixes’
Now you’re versed in all things Derulo, you’ll want to know how you can get your hands on a Nokia Lumia 610 and one of five signed copies of his album. It’s very simple, just answer the following question and we’ll pick our five favourite responses, all of whom will win a signed album, with one (our favourite response) also winning a Nokia Lumia 610!
If Jason Derulo could cover ANY song, which song would it be and why?
All entries need to be made by leaving a comment below. The competition closes Thursday 21st June at midnight GMT.
Full competition T&C’s can be found here.
**THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW FINISHED**
Congratulations to all of the winners, find out if you have won by scrolling down the comments section and looking for a reply from Emanuelle. The grand prize of a signed album plus the coveted Nokia Lumia 610 goes to Chee Young for this heartfelt entry:
‘We all depend on music for support constantly. It is amazing how much it can change your mood. Music is so therapeutic.
I would choose Peter Gabriel’s song “Don’t Give Up”.
It’s what I constantly want to say to my uncle, who sees his death coming faster and faster due to cancer…. I want him to ‘please don’t give up/rest your head/you worry too much/it’s gonna be alright’.
Everyone who has lost someone to cancer
Let’s find a cure and stay strong’
Thanks for entering everyone, we will be in touch if you have won. Look out for our next competition going live today on Nokia Connects.
