This week marks the beginning of Film Week here at Nokia Connects, where we will be championing everything great about the movie industry and highlighting the exciting partnership between Nokia and The Dark Knight Rises. Charge up your camera batteries and get rolling because we also have a very special competition to tell you about, the #NokiaFilmChallenge!
Read on to find out more details of the competition, and how you could get your hands on a Nokia 808 PureView.
We all have a favourite film character, whether it’s Don Corleone from The Godfather or Gracie Hart from Miss Congeniality; and we’ve all tried to impersonate them at one point or other.
Well, to celebrate Film Week here at Nokia Connects we want you to film yourself impersonating your favourite film star (bonus points if you film it on your Nokia), and tweet us the video using the hashtag #NokiaFilmChallenge.
At the end of the week, we will pick the best one and the winner will get themselves their very own brand new Nokia 808 PureView!
To recap, all you have to do to win this amazing prize is:
- Do an impression of your favourite film character
- Film it (preferably on your Nokia)
- Tweet us the video @Nokia_Connects using the hashtag #NokiaFilmChallenge or drop us a link to your film in the comments section below
Last entries must be in by midnight (12am) GMT on Sunday 8th July , and the winner will be announced on Monday 9th July here on Nokia Connects. Full terms and conditions here.

As always we want to say a massive thanks to everyone who took part in this competition. We had some truly amazing entries and you all managed to make the whole Nokia Connects team laugh.

Kermit the frog – an excellent impersonation of the main man muppet himself from Burgermeisterbrau
Sherlock Holmes – a superb effort from Uziel. You did well to get other people to help out on this one, looks like a feature film!

The Joker – a scary entry from Roley Martin, but a very accurate portrayal of the Joker, including the laugh.
