Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has had a wonderful and productive weekend thus far. And yet, it’s not over! There are still points of view and personal preferences to be divulged and commented on, in the Nokia Connects Big Debate.

The Big Debate: New phone

So you’ve just got your new phone. It’s the one you’ve been waiting for and have been dreaming about for a fair amount of time. The question is, once you unwrap the little beast; what is the first thing you do with it?

Obviously a lot of you reading here will be bloggers yourselves, so I’d appreciate if you guys who would usually say ‘photo shoot, unboxing video and first impressions’ can go a little further and tell me (as well as that) what you do when you start using it as your phone.

I start by adding all of my social networks and personalising it as much as possible, are you like me? I also start adding all of my contacts and putting my favourite people on the home screen, for easy access and company, I guess!

On top of that I check out all of the things that are customisable and most of the basic settings. I do all of the above before installing any apps or even browsing the web because I want the phone to really feel like it’s mine and nobody else’s. It needs to, at a glance, reflect who I am and what I mainly use it for (staying in touch with the people that matter the most).

You’d think keen photographers would get straight into the camera. Well, at least I do… but is this true? Let me know if you’re a photographer!

Drop your comments down below and reach out on Twitter. Tell us all what you do with a new phone and why. The why is important! #NokiaDebate
