If there’s one thing we’re fans of, it’s lots of people writing about the same phone in different ways and finding cool things to do with them. This time it’s the Nokia 808 PureView and the cool things include fine art and making music.

Now before you all leave comments saying ‘That’s not an 808 PureView, Tom’, let me tell you thatSiraj has been very clever here. His unboxing gallery of the Nokia Lumia 610 was taken on the Nokia 808 PureView, which is a very clever way to kind of get two phones into one post. As well as showing the Nokia Lumia 610 in all it’s shiny blue glory, Siraj manages to subtly show the stunning picture quality that’s possible with the 808 PureView. And it’s time to let the pictures do the talking:

If there is one thing that the 808 PureView is more than capable of, it’s recording live music. Live music at a concert recorded on a phone is traditionally dodgy at best, more of a ‘point and hope’ than a ‘point and shoot’ – and the sound quality was terrible. With the 808 PureView, however, this is a thing of the past, as EasycapExpertti has proved with the Nokia 808 PureView Music Recordings site. It’s a collection of recordings from concerts around the world, all grabbed on 808 PureViews. And it’s awesome. Take this example:

Finally for today, how about some fine art? All taken on the Nokia 808 PureView, of course, and part of a fine art show in Brazil.

What have you done with your Nokia 808 PureView? Got any photos/videos/music to share? How about if you’re planning to get your hands on one – what’s the first thing you’re going to snap? Let us know in the comments.
