Two weeks ago Nokia travelled around the world to take part in and sponsor Social Media Week, for the 4th time running no less!

During the week speakers from various companies, organisations and professions, came together to talk about the impact of social media, socially, commercially and economically.

The event is an open forum where people can come for free, to teach, listen and share new ideas. Nokia are proud to be a sponsor of such a collaborative event, and here’s a short video from some of the top bodies in the Nokia Social team, to tell you a little bit about why it’s special, and how it’s helping to educate people regarding social media.

If this kind of thing interests you or you have some ideas or insight to share, I definitely recommend that you get involved. It’s free to attend and runs in many different countries, and as Carla said in the video, expansion to more countries may be on the horizon soon.
