Is it a bird? No. Is it a plane? I don’t think so. It’s the Nokia Lumia 820. And befitting the mass enthusiasm surrounding the Nokia Lumia 920’s ‘little brother’, we’ve rounded up the latest reviews from the tech community.

As ‘strong as Popeye‘ according to GSM Nation’s blog, the Lumia 820 is eulogised for its ‘clever use of the right materials’, particularly the display ‘well endowed’ with sharpness, the ‘nice’ expandable storage and the ‘impeccable’ wide viewing angles.

Jessica Dolcourt praised the Lumia 820’s 4.3inch amoled screen and ClearBlack technology for making the mobile device ‘great to look at’. As she demonstrated in her hands-on CNET review, the ‘pretty neat’ highly sensitive screen allowed her to navigate the interface easily with her fingernails or a pair of gloves on.

Impressed by the colourful Windows Phone 8 phone, Tech Radar adore the slickness of the ‘smooth’ operating system, ultimately concluding the Lumia 820 to be a ‘tempting offer for anyone.’ Nice. And lest we forget, the AMOLED, ClearBlack displays, playback ‘looks great’. – as shown below.
