It’s been quite a year for the Nokia Lumia 920 with accolades coming from far and wide.

V3.co.uk, one of the UK’s leading websites for technology professionals, awarded the Nokia Lumia 920 its top smartphone prize. Here’s what they had to say.

In Australia, the Nokia Lumia 920 overwhelmed the opposition. With 49% of the vote the Nokia Lumia 920 beat the iPhone 5, which gained 13.5% of the vote, and the Google Nexus 4, which scored 8.97% of the vote.
iF Award for Outstanding Design, International Forum Design, Germany
For sixty years, International Forum Design, has assembled a jury of renowned designers from across the globe. These experts look at thousands of products, every year, to decide which deserve to be recognized for outstanding achievements in design. This year the Nokia Lumia 920 got the nod.
Mobil Award for Best Smartphone Design, Mobile Magazine, Denmark
The Mobil Awards are the most prestigious in Denmark. In 2012, the Nokia Lumia 920 won the awards for best smartphone design and best smartphone camera.
Best Smartphones of 2012, The Next Web, USA
The Next Web considered the Nokia Lumia 920 one of the best smartphones of 2012, and was especially enamored by the camera.
“The Lumia 920’s camera is exceptionally good, including a f/2.0 8.7-megapixel sensor, but the magic is in its optical image stabilisation and low-light sensitivity.”
Top Score Award, Mobil, Sweden
Mobil, one of Sweden’s most popular tech blogs, and gave a ton of love to the Nokia Lumia 920 awarding nine out of ten for material and quality, OS and technology. Combined, this led to it being awarded a coveted Top Score Award.
The Best High End Smartphones for the Holidays, CNET, USA
CNET considers the Nokia Lumia 920 to be “The most advanced Windows Phone yet”. And here’s why.
“It has a gorgeous display, a speedy dual-core processor, and its 8.7-megapixel camera masters low-light shots. In addition, it integrates voice navigation and wireless charging, not to mention a music service that saves music offline for free.”

The Nokia Lumia 920 might not have taken gold at Arstechnic, but it swept the board in silver, underlining what an incredibly versatile smartphone it is.
Top 25 Tech of 2012, Mashable, USA
The Nokia Lumia 920 also made it onto Mashable’s prestigious tech list ranking higher than marvels such as the Mars Rover, Curiosity, and Google’s augmented reality specs, Google Glass. Mashable said of the Lumia 920:

Top Smartphone of the Year, Mybroadband, South Africa
South Africa’s top technology gurus voted the Nokia Lumia 920 as one of the top three smartphones of the year.
Best AT&T Smartphones of 2012, BGR, USA
One of the five best handsets of the year on US carrier AT&T, BGR clearly had a lot of time for the Nokia Lumia 920, saying:
“Microsoft’s platform is a breath of fresh air in a market dominated by two giants and for those looking to veer away from the crowd, the Lumia 920 is one of the best Windows Phones that has ever been built.”<

Okay, so it’s not an award as such, but it’s a very big endorsement from one of the UK’s best newspapers.
Tech editor, David Phelan says “This is arguably the best smartphone Nokia has built, and probably the most advanced phone available. It mixes solid reliability with moments of surprise and delight.”
