Seppo heads up Nokia’s Mobile Phones strategic planning team. It’s a big role but when it comes to his favourite among our recent mobile phones, the emphasis is on simplicity and performance.
Seppo’s choice is one of the most recent entrants to the Mobile Phones portfolio. It’s the… Nokia 206.
Who in your family would you recommend this phone to?
When I used the Nokia 206 prototype at home, ahead of the launch, my daughter constantly begged me to give it to her! She just loves the design, colours and the camera of the Nokia 206. The other extreme is my father. He thinks that the battery standby time of a record high 47 days just rocks when you are a road warrior.
What do you think is the one unique feature in this phone?
Slam and the rocking battery performance!
What’s the killer app you recommend on this phone?
I just think the easy, fun and fast sharing of pictures and videos with Slam is really something cool. It’s a potentially disruptive low-end innovation, especially for many in the mobile phone target segments that are highly social but affordability constrained!
With Slam you get the benefits of NFC with ‘easy touch sharing’ in a great value device.
