Nothing beats the simplicity of NFC on your Nokia Lumia. Just tap, and go. It’s as simple as that.
Mix NFC Tag Writer app – lets you create tags for all your favourite bands or mixes from Nokia Music and then share them with ease showed by the Nokia NFC Writer.
Leveraging Nokia’s Music API, Mix NFC Tag Writer gives you the option to create either a mix tags, or artist tags.
The mixes section presents about 20 different mix categories, such as Pop, Rock, Decades, and even Lumia Live Sessions, to name just a few. Once you’ve selected which genre you like, tap it and choose a sub genre from the list that appears.
If you selected Pop, you may see Most played pop, UK singles chart, and Pop legends amongst a long list of others. Again, select what you want to listen to and you’re just one step away from creating an NFC-enabled tag of that Nokia Music Mix.
All that’s left to do is to place a spare NFC-enabled tag (we’ve looked at NFC tags before) against your phone and it’ll program the tag for you.
If you want to create a Nokia Music Mix tag from artists, rather than mix categories, slide over to the artist section. There you can select one, two three different artists from the database and create a tag.
How to use Nokia Music NFC tags
There are a number of ways in which you can take advantage of the NFC tags.
Place one of these tags on your dashboard, or in that small compartment by the gearstick where you store your phone. Then, your favourite mix, or artist will start to play as soon as you tap the tag with your phone. perfect for the drive to work.
