Surface is the latest outpost for Halo fans

This morning the world learned some awesome news. The latest installment of the Halo franchise, Halo Spartan Assault is landing on Surface, other Windows 8 PCs and devices and Windows Phone 8!

This is a single player campaign spanning 25 missions in the Halo universe, all played in a top down style camera view. What makes this great for Surface? It’s a touch based experience, but you could also click in your Touch or Type Cover to have the flexibility of keyboard and mouse action as well. Of course it comes packed with new experience points and Achievements, in addition to emblems for your Halo 4 Spartan career. We are looking forward to getting this game in the hands of our Surface people, but until that happens check out the screenshots and game trailer and get pumped!
