Spartan Assault drops in on Surface RT and Surface Pro

The wait is over! After first getting our hands on Halo: Spartan Assault back in June, we haven’t been able to get our fingers off the screen. Now you can visit the Windows Store and download Halo: Spartan Assault for $6.99 (U.S.) and set your own mark on the Leaderboards. Brandon over on the Windows blog has a complete break down of everything you need to know about Halo: Spartan Assault, go check it out here.

Halo: Spartan Assault was showcased on the floor at E3 in June, and this week at Comicon San Diego. We have seen and heard how much people love getting this rich Halo experience on Surface. Using touch to navigate these new environments is amazing, but doing it on a bright 10.6 inch screen is flat out awesome.

As Brandon points out, the story of Spartan Assault takes place between Halo 3 and Halo 4. But what has us most excited is the ability to compete against friends on the Leaderboards, and complete weekly Challenges. Call us feisty.

This is why we love Surface. Go from ruining the Covenant one minute, to conquering the workday the next, all on the same tablet. Go check it out and tell us what you think. And, see you on the leader boards!
