NokiaLowLightPhotographycomp A couple of months ago we launched the Nokia Low Light Photography Competition in conjunction with online creative community Talenthouse. Our aim was simple: To showcase up and coming photographers and challenge them to create some amazing images using the Nokia Lumia 925. Now, finally, after weeks of hard snapping that whittled the original hundreds of entrants down to a fantastic fifty finalists, we can reveal the three amazing winners.

Please put your hands together and make some noise for, Petronin Ugo, Sara Rios and Maris Silis. Like the other forty-seven finalists, our three winners spent two weeks taking shots with the world’s greatest low light camera smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 925. We’ll be taking a closer look at the photographers and their portfolios in the coming weeks. In the meantime, sit back and marvel at some of the shots, which won them a trip to New Zealand, a Nokia Lumia 925 and a spread in he UK’s most influential lifestyle outlet: Dazed & Confused.

First up, Sara Rios: Judge Tyrone Lebon said of her work. “I liked the warm Portuguese light in Sara’s photos. Made me want to go on holiday! I especially liked the sea foam images, they are totally crazy, never seen that before.”
