Behind-the-scenes with Surface at the GRAMMY Nominations

We’re proud to announce that Surface is the Official Tablet Partner of the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards®. In preparation for the upcoming awards next month, the Surface team went down to sunny California for the GRAMMY Nominations LIVE! show. Surface 2 was the official tablet that powered The Recording Academy’s social feeds and this was a unique opportunity for us to give you a behind-the-scenes all access pass on everything that was happening. If you follow us on Twitter you may have seen some of the pictures and tweets we posted from the green room. The Nominations show was hosted by LL Cool J at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and included performances by Robin Thicke, Keith Urban, and Seattle’s own Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

From GRAMMY nominees to supportive fans, we know that music is a major passion for those involved in every part of making the GRAMMYs happen. With apps like Xbox Music and Music Maker Jam, Surface is the one device people can use to access, share and discover new music.

Congratulations to all of the GRAMMY Nominees! We’ve put together an Xbox Music playlist of GRAMMY Nominees for you to check out. If you’d like to see even more behind-the-scenes pictures from the show head on over to our Facebook album.
