Are you attending the Sundance Film Festival this year and will you be around Park City on closing weekend? Come join the Surface team, RED, and the Diamond Brothers for a workshop that will tell you everything you need to know about RED Dragon camera workflow.

Sundance 1

Join noted filmmaking duo Josh and Jason Diamond (The Diamond Brothers) as they take you through a journey of next-generation on-set workflows. This workshop will feature an up-close and personal session with the new RED EPIC and EPIC DRAGON cameras. In this in-depth, 2-hour session we will work with a number of producers, directors and filmmakers to learn shooting techniques for 4k, 5k and 6k footage, and how Surface Pro 2 enables instant image preview and manipulating using Assimilate’s SCRATCH Play and Adobe’s Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere.

The workshop is free so join us at 1pm at the Montage Hotel in Deer Valley on Saturday, Januiary 25th in the Hotel Gallery on the Lobby Level.

Sundance 2

Forging a path directing and producing numerous award-winning music videos, short films, commercials and documentaries, Josh and Jason Diamond are recognized as the go-to team for Digital Filmmaking by some of New York’s best-known filmmakers.

The Diamond Bros. have extensive experience with RED EPIC and EPIC DRAGON cameras and have created content for clients such as Sony Playstation, American Express, FILA, Nike, MTV, SpikeTV, VH1, including the recent viral hit “Share it Maybe” for Sesame Street (15,500,000 hits on YouTube) & providing RED EPIC cameras and technical support to DP Bradford Young on the film “Mother of George” which won Best Cinematography at Sundance 2013.

Their short film, “The Ballad of Danko Jones” (starring Elijah Wood) was released as one of the first 4K films available online.
