4 Surface Tips & Tricks to Try Out Today

Happy Friday! We’re back with a few more Surface tips & tricks for you to kick off the weekend. We’ve enjoyed sharing our other tips and tricks posts, if you haven’t checked them out you can find them here, here and here. No matter how long you’ve had your Surface it’s always fun to learn a new thing or two.

1. Express yourself with emojis! Did you know there is a keyboard filled with fun emoticons for you to use? Simply access your Touch Keyboard on the bottom right hand side of your taskbar and click the smiley face. There you’ll have access to 9 categories of emoticons.

2. If you like you speak your own language without text suggestion you can turn that off for your convenience.

3. Need to restart an app you’re running? No problem, you can do that in three simple steps.

4. Want to step away from your Surface? You can easily lock your Surface screen with this shortcut and keep your status updates prank free!

Have a great weekend and once again we hope you’ve enjoyed this edition of our Surface tips & tricks. Like we’ve said before, there are more to come so stay tuned!
