Calling all filmmakers: Do you have what it takes to create Nokia’s next video?

Are you an aspiring filmmaker or avid hobbyist? We’re looking for the next breakthrough filmmaking team to create a mind-blowing short video using the Nokia Lumia Icon.

Through Rippld, we’re channeling the power of the community to find the most talented film crew out there for the “Lumia Icon Challenge.” In the end, the five most promising teams will each be awarded a $10,000 production budget, three Nokia Lumia Icon devices and filmmaking kit to try their hand at creating the best video in three weeks.

The community will decide which video outshines the rest, and the resulting masterpiece will be featured on Nokia.com and recognized by the popular lifestyle site Thrillist – gaining tons of exposure across the United States.

Whether you’re a producer, director, or simply a lover of film, there’s still time to show off your stuff – submissions will be accepted via Rippld until April 27, 2014. To demonstrate your personality and artistic potential, you’ll be asked to explain why you’re best suited for this fun opportunity and submit your best original work.
