More than 1,000 images were submitted through the app of the same name to capture the best #spaceselfie. Now, the judges have picked a winner!
During Mobile World Congress 2014, the team from Nokia Developer released an update to their Imaging SDK to give developers the tools they need to create amazing photo apps for Windows Phone.
To showcase some of the capabilities of the Imaging SDK, they also released an app of their own called “spaceselfie” that allows you to swap solid backgrounds in your pictures for space-themed images and apply cinematic filters.
Using the spaceselfie app, Windows Phone fans could begin to experience the power and potential of the Imaging SDK for themselves.
Meet the #spaceselfie winner
Vinza V. Lukman submitted the winning image (featured at the top of the story) to the contest! The judges appreciated his playful and unique interpretation of the assignment.
As one of the judges told us: “It was really hard to choose a winner from all of the great entries we received. We have seen people being very creative with outfits, making funny faces, even showing pets in space! And of course, there were so many fun spaceselfies taken at the special booth we hosted during both Mobile World Congress and Build this year.”
As the winner of the contest, Vinza will receive a new Lumia smartphone of his choice!
