Lumia Instagramer of the Week: Ana Puzar

Andy Warhol once said “You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.”

If there’s one person who has shown why we should be thrilled by the little things in life, it’s this week’s Lumia Instagramer. Ana Puzar, who lives in Zadar, a small town on the Adriatic coast in Croatia, tells us she got her start in photography when her two daughters were young as a way to capture the important moments in their lives. “I started to notice all that natural beauty around us: people, flowers, and of course those little cute tiny creatures…all those things that usually we take for granted,” she says. Her love for taking photos quickly became a way of life, an escape into her own world where she began to see things differently. Which Lumia do you have and what do you like most about it?

I have three Lumia devices – 920, 1020 and recently I got Nokia Lumia 1520 as my MVC prize. My journey and love for Nokia devices started with the Nokia Lumia 920. Shortly after that I decided to go further and get a Lumia 1020 for myself. The thing that I love most about Lumia 1020 is the camera and the possibilities it gives.

Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take best?

I usually take pictures in my hometown, Zadar. I shoot almost everything from landscapes, portraits (with my dog Simba as my main model) to macroshots, which is my favourite kind of photography.

What are your top tips for taking Instagram photos on your Lumia?

First of all, try to fully enjoy taking photos. Explore the camera settings of your Lumia device. If you are interested in macrophotography, then stay focused and try to be very, very patient.
