Mandarin Oriental Hotels Piloting New Program with Surface Pro Tablets

Today Microsoft announced that it is collaborating with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to offer their guests a new premium digital experience and Surface is excited to be a part of it.

Mandarin Oriental is piloting Microsoft Surface Pro tablets in four of their award-winning properties in London, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Tokyo which will feature a custom Windows 8.1 start screen and modern touch apps that allow guests to quickly and easily request hotel services, such as housekeeping, laundry and in-room dining.

Early feedback from Mandarin Oriental guests has been extremely positive and the hotel group will continue to tailor the solution as they extend the tablet deployment to more of their markets, with an initial target installation of 1,000 tablets, including the Surface Pro 3, across their portfolio in the near future.
