Storyteller: create mini- movies from your photos

Creating digital keepsakes out of life’s little moments is not only easy, but a joy, thanks to Storyteller.

Think about it, your Camera Roll is already full of great photos. Rather than leaving them untouched, or sharing to Facebook as single images, take a few minutes with Storyteller to make them special.

Storyteller provides you with a new way to browse your photos and videos by grouping them into events, which can be viewed within a timeline, on a map, or combined into a Video Story.

Storyteller’s timeline displays all of your photos or videos in chronological order but will group together those taken at the same location, at roughly the same time.

Select a few and they will be added to a Story Video event. All you need to do then is press play and watch the magic unfold.

A memory-evoking soundtrack will play as the scenes flick from one to the other.

Short video snippets and any Cinemagraphs you’ve got can also be included, giving your mini movie extra depth.

Once you’ve previewed your Story Video, hit the edit option to randomise the media files, change them completely and/or change the music to suit the mood of the movie.

When you’re happy, save it locally to your phone, or share it with your friends or family on Facebook, OneDrive, Outlook and more.

If you want to create your own Story Video that’s not already grouped into an event, just select which photos, Cinemagraphs or videos you want to include in your Storyteller timeline and tap the merge button.

Huzzah! You’ve just created another event.
