While camera phones have enabled us all to snap a photo at a moment’s notice and then upload it to social networks, it has meant that physical photos, tangible ones, are something of a rarity. But no longer, thanks to SNAPCAM for Windows Phone 8.
SNAPCAM makes it easy to create a high quality, affordable, printed photobook so that you can enjoy your memories in print forever, or send them to loved ones as a personalized gift.
SNAPCAM gives you the option of creating two types of photobook that can be delivered to your door: a 12-page A5 softcover album, and a 12-page A5 hardback album, costing £4.99 (€4.99 / US $7.99) and £9.99 (€9.99 / US $15.99) respectively.
Both options include full colour rendering, with flood coat gloss varnished pages. The photos are printed at a resolution of 2,400 x 2,400 that leaves the images looking crisp and clear.
Creating an album couldn’t be simpler. Use the existing photos stored on your phone, or import pictures from Facebook or Onedrive to build your photo album. Images from other photo apps, such as Instagram or Hipstamatic Oggl, are automatically drawn from the camera roll so you can use those, too.
Once you’ve selected the photos you want to use in your album, you simply tap the button to create a new photobook layout in seconds. SNAPCAM automatically arranges the photos to take the hard work out of building a photobook, but you can rearrange them as you like.
With access to Xerox’s 700+ Premier Print Partners worldwide, whenever you place an order, it’s printed at your most local SNAPCAM-affiliated print shop. This not only leaves a low carbon footprint, but also reduces the delivery time and cost to you – typically books will be printed and dispatched in 48 hours.
As a special introductory offer, SNAPCAM has provided us with a voucher code that you can use for your first photobook order. Simply type ‘SNAPPY’ into the ‘Voucher Code’ box at the Order Confirmation screen to receive a 50% discount.
