If you love your Lumia, likelihood is you love making mobile movies and shooting fantastic photos. Well, for all you visual wizards out there, we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for you to show off your expertise and win some cracking prizes, too. What more could you ask for?
Share your mobile magic
To celebrate both the kick-ass cameras on our Lumias and the joys of Social Media Week, we’re launching a mobile photography, short film and Vine competition with Talenthouse, an online community of creative talent. Social Media Week is a biannual event, attended by over 60,000 people worldwide and THE place for brands and agencies to share the best digital and social insights, trends and information. To be a part of it, we’re challenging you to create imagery that encapsulates the theme “Shared Experience”.
How you interpret this is entirely your decision, but we hope to witness creative ideas that either blow our minds or tug at our heartstrings. Put simply, we want to see your best work, either newly created or already existing, created on any mobile device.
Prizes galore in store
If your entry does the business and you take one of two first prizes, the one for the best photographer or the one for the best filmmaker, you’ll be whisked off to Social Media Week in either LA or London. Your work will also be seen and displayed across the eleven cities hosting Social Media Week this September 2014 – from Miami to Johannesburg and São Paulo to Berlin.
On your VIP trip to either London or Los Angeles for the five-day Social Media Week event, you’ll get the chance to meet leading brands and agencies, participate in workshops and sessions as well as enjoy free access to after parties. And if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also give you one of the world’s finest Windows Phone, the Lumia 930 (or Icon in the US ) and $1,000.
How do I enter?
Happily, it’s super simple to enter. All you need to do is head on over to Talenthouseand follow the easy steps outlined. The deadline for entries is the 21st of August, which gives you just ten days to get to work. So what are you waiting for?
