5 things Reddit loves about the Microsoft Lumia 535
Reddit doesn’t call itself “The front page of the internet” for nothing.
With thousands of subreddit communities covering everything from Zen Habits to Futurology, there is quite literally something wonderful for everyone. And, happily, that includes us Lumia loving Windows Phone fans. So what better place to go and check out the word on the Web about the Lumia 535 than the Windows Phone subreddit. This marvellous community is home to nearly 40 000 seriously clued-up Lumia lovers. Here are five things they’re loving about the latest addition to the Lumia family.
1. It’s affordable
The 535 packs a great punch for its price. Pricing for both the Lumia 535 3G Single SIM and Lumia 535 3G Dual SIM will vary by market and operator, but estimated to be around 110 Euros (before taxes and subsidies).
“That’s a really great price for most markets, very impressive! They didn’t skimp out on a whole lot either, which is great!”
2. The front-facing camera
In addition to the 5.0MP main camera, the 535 has a 5MP wide angle front-facing camera that’s perfect for selfies and Skyping.
“5MP front-facing camera? Okay, that’s it, I’m gonna buy this phone this Christmas.”
3. The colours
Available in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey, and black, the 535 can bring a little colour to your life.
“Cyan is back!”
4. The memory
With 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, you’ll have no problem playing games or getting some work done on the 535. 8GB of storage and a microSD card that supports up to 128 GB really sweetens the deal.
“1GB ram? Nice”
5. It’s exactly what it should be
“This is what the low-end Lumia should really be like: size, feel and everyday-performance very similar to the flagship while still allowing the better phones to shine through in “power” use cases.”
“This is everything I ever wanted! I don’t want to spend 250+€ for a phone with 1GB and a front facing Cam”
